A custody handoff checklist that stays short
Handoff checklists grow when teams respond to every scare by adding a box. The Cold Storage Session Tracker works better when each line changes a decision: continue, pause, or escalate to a physical-control review.
Start with five lines: purpose closed or open items, materials motionless confirmation, seal states, recipient name, and next review date. If a sixth line appears, ask who will act on it within 48 hours. If nobody will, drop it.
