Session logs that survive shift changes
When a vault window closes, the next person rarely has your context. A Cold Storage Session Tracker earns its keep if it answers three questions without a follow-up call: why the room opened, what moved, and what still needs attention.
Write locations as if the reader has never stood in the room. “Left shelf, second bin, blue tag” beats “the usual place.” Name people by role and full name once, then keep roles consistent through the entry.
Finish while you are still in the workflow. Reconstructing a session from memory after dinner produces soft edges — missing seal states, guessed timestamps, and polite fiction about who witnessed what.
Mindgrid Core’s Vault Session Discipline course drills this with messy verbal debriefs on purpose. The exercise is not about perfect prose; it is about leaving an inspectable trail.
